NOTICE TO BIDDERS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the EAST BAY REGIONAL PARK DISTRICT is inviting bids for the project referred to and described as follows:

PROJECT: Contra Loma Regional Park - Boat Launch Facility Improvements (Phase 2)

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:Rehabilitate a boat launch facility composed of: replace, remove and dispose of existing floating docks, raised wood walkway, aluminum transition plate, fishing dock, and four timber piles; and fabricate and install new boarding docks, new fishing pier dock, and two new steel piles, including all incidentals and appurtenant items as shown on the plans and specified herein.

COMPLETION: 64 Working Days

CONSTRUCTION COST ESTIMATE: $225,000

Each bid shall be made in accordance with the Contract Documents on file and available for inspection beginning on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at the District offices located at 2950 Peralta Oaks Ct., Oakland, CA.

Hard copies are also available for viewing (but not for purchase) at various builder's exchanges as listed on the website noted above.

A bidder must purchase a complete set (hard or electronic copy) from BPXpress Reprographics to be considered responsive and to receive addenda notifications. There is a non-refundable fee of $50 PER SET for a bid package, plus shipping and handling if necessary.

An optional on-site pre-bid meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, May 8 at 11:00 am. Meet at the Project Location as shown on the plans, Title Sheet G-001.

Sealed bids shall be delivered to the District's Design and Construction office at the above address, directed to the attention of Chief, Design and Construction Department, before 2:00 p.m., on Tuesday, May 24, 2018. Bids will be publicly opened at the same location at that time.
