NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS
Construction Manager /General Contractor

Date:

April 13, 2018

RE:

South Suburban Park and Recreation District - Recreation Complex

1.                   The South Suburban Park and Recreation District, a quasi-municipal corporation and political subdivision of the State of Colorado, is in the initial planning phase of a project to design and construct a recreation complex.

2.                   Procedure for Submitting SOQs.  Melissa Reese-Thacker, Planning Manager, is acting as the owner’s representative for the District, and it is in the process of recommending a Construction Manager/General Contractor for the project work.

Interested Contractors are invited to submit a Statement of Qualifications (“SOQ”) no later than 5:00 pm MDT on April 27, 2018.  Late submittals or submittals delivered to the wrong location will not be accepted.  For consideration, responders must (i) download a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) from either the Rocky Mountain E Purchasing System at https://www.bidnetdirect.com/colorado or from the District’s website at https://ssprd.org/Bids-and-Proposals; and (ii) submit five (5) original copies and one (1) digital copy of the SOQ to Melissa Reese-Thacker, South Suburban Park and Recreation District at 6631 S. University Blvd., Centennial, CO 80121. Questions regarding this RFQ are to be submitted by email to: MelissaR@ssprd.org.

The SOQs will be evaluated, and the respondents will be reduced to a group of qualified contractors.  The qualified contractors will subsequently be invited to submit proposals based on a Request for Proposals.  The District expects to award a contract to the contractor who submits the proposal which, in the District’s estimation, represents the best value to the District.

The District reserves the right to act in its best interest and may terminate, modify or suspend the process, reject any or all submittals, modify the terms and conditions of this selection process and/or waive informalities of any submission.
