STOCKTON UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT
-NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS-
CALIFORNIA UNIFORM PUBLIC CONSTRUCTION COST ACCOUNTING ACT
Notice is hereby given that the Stockton Unified School District invites all licensed contractors, for all trades, to be included on the District’s list of qualified contractors for projects between $45,000 and $175,000 for the 2018 calendar year. Applications shall be made by submitting the following information on the District Application Form:
1. Contractor name and address to which bid notices should be mailed.
2. Telephone number at which the contractor may be reached.
3. Type of Work in which the contractor is interested and currently licensed to perform.
4. Class of contractor’s license number(s) held.
5. Contractor’s license number(s) for each type of work.
6. Department of Industrial Relations registration number.
7. Fax number at which the contractor may be reached; and
8. E-mail address at which the contractor may be reached.
Additionally, all contractors holding A, B, C-4, C-7, C-10, C-16, C-20, C-34, C-36, C-38,
C-42, C-43, and/or C-46 licenses must be prequalified to be included on the Districts list.
Contractors must prequalify at http://pqbids.com/stockton/ by following the contractor
prequalification instructions for creating an account. After creating an account, contractor
shall complete the prequalification process on-line. Contractors who submit a complete
prequalification package online will be notified by e-mail of their completed qualification
status. This confirmation email must be submitted with the District Application Form by
email to icosta@stocktonusd.net. Prequalification approval will remain valid for one
year. Contractors that have previously completed the prequalification process with the
District and are currently listed on the Districts list of approved contractors do not need
to prequalify for calendar year 2018. All contractors, regardless of prequalification status,
must submit an application form to be included on the 2018 list.
Applications shall be on a District form and must be submitted by mail, fax or email. Application forms are available from the Stockton Unified School District Purchasing Department. A contractor may have his or her firm added to the District’s Contractors Bid List at any time by providing the required information.
The Stockton Unified School District Governing Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all informal bids, waive any non-material irregularities, and will be the sole judge of the merit and responsibility of participating contractors.
