Metro will issue a Request for Qualifications/Request for Proposals (RFP) No. C45161C1152 Purple Line Extension Section 3 Stations Project – Design/Build per specifications on file at the Office of Procurement, One Gateway Plaza, Los Angeles, CA 90012 (9th Floor) on September 15, 2017.
The Contract is for the final design and construction of stations, track work, utilities and systems for the heavy rail subway Purple Line for Section 3. The Section 3 Project alignment extends beneath the City of Los Angeles, Caltrans (I-405), Los Angeles County and VA Hospital property, consisting of approximately 2.59 miles of improvements from the future Century City Constellation Station site and includes the Westwood / UCLA Station and Westwood / VA Hospital Station. The estimated contract value is $1,100,000,000 to $1,200,000,000. A Pre-Proposal Conference will be held on October 9, 2017 at 9:30 a.m., in the Board Room on the 3rd Floor of the LACMTA Gateway Building.
All Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) must be submitted to Metro and be filed at the reception desk of the Office of Procurement on or before Monday, October 30, 2017 at 2:00 p.m., Pacific Time. Proposals will be due, no later than Monday, May 21, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Each must be submitted in sealed envelopes/boxes, by mail or hand delivered to the address below. Proposals received after the above date and time may be rejected and returned unopened. Each Proposal must be sealed and marked RFQ/RFP No. C45161C1152.
The complete set of RFQ/RFP documents on DVD is available for purchase on Friday, September 15, 2017 for $25.00 at the address following below or $50.00 if the DVDs are to be mailed.

Requests must be accompanied by payment to LACMTA in the form of a money order, company check, cashier’s check, or certified check (personal checks are not an acceptable form of payment); Monday through Friday (except holidays) between the hours of 9;00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
